City Sunrise

This fun quilt is based on the traditional log cabin quilt block but it has been bent and shaped in new ways to create this scene reminiscent of a city at sunrise. This work is based on a design method from Katie Pasquini Masopust called Artful Log Cabin. Producing this quilt required many hours of cutting strips of fabric and hours of piecing each block to fit onto the grid. The art work is 32 in. x 42 in.
